About Us... Owners Jim and Janet Harris have been proud and loyal Montanans for over 25 years with a special love and devotion for their hometown - Helena. Jim has over twenty-five years of retail experience and Janet has been a Customer Service Supervisor for the Helena Post Office for the last eighteen years. Together, we identified a need in Helena for a quality, all-around Sports, Novelty and Gift Store which became J & J Trading Post.
A large part of our success has been Helena area support and the popularity and continual demand for Sports Memorabilia and Gifts. NFL, NASCAR and Baseball have proven to be very much in demand. We constantly search the markets for the latest of a variety of quality sports teams and NASCAR items to keep up with the discerning taste of our valued customers. We are ever open to the expanding collectables market. We also offer a wide range of functional, high-quality Blades. This is a growing part of our business as Blade enthusiasts expand their collection and draw new interest and collectors to the store.
Helena and our Helena area customers have given us excellent feedback which has allowed us to flex with trends and provide the products and service expected and deserved by our valued friends and customers. Our customers have always been positive and supportive leading us to believe that we are, to many, becoming a Helena Foundation and Tradition.

About Us... Jobs for Montana's Graduates Foundation (JMGF) was established in 2003, for the purpose of supporting and expanding the JMG program, a school-to-career and dropout prevention program that currently partners with middle and high schools throughout the state of Montana. The scope of the Foundation has since grown to include providing youth opportunites to engage in AmeriCorps service with Young Adult Service Corps (YASC). Each year, 100+ youth across Montana volunteer to meet community needs, develop leadership skills, and earn an Education Award for postsecondary coursework.
