Frontier Town Restoration & Revival News

I’m excited to share that under the dedicated new ownership of the Hays Family, Frontier Town is now undergoing a grand restoration with a vision rooted in history, community, and legacy. Originally built in the 1940s by John Quigley, Frontier Town became one of Montana’s most iconic roadside destinations — known for its hand-built log structures, wild west flair, and warm hospitality. For decades, it was a place where families gathered, stories came alive, and lasting memories were made.

Now, honoring John Quigley’s wishes that Frontier Town always be shared with the world, our team is carefully restoring the original buildings, preserving the charm and craftsmanship that made Frontier Town so special, and preparing it to once again open its gates to the public. Beyond the restoration, we have exciting plans for the future — including live music, community events, and family-friendly experiences that celebrate Montana’s pioneer spirit and heritage. It’s a labor of love, and we’re proud to be bringing this historic treasure back to life — for locals, travelers, and future generations to enjoy.
