United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area is wrapping up four incredible days of its month-long Spirit of Service project, and the impact on the Helena community has been remarkable.
This year, United Way set out to serve as many elderly, disabled, and veteran residents as possible, and the community responded in a big way. Nearly 200 volunteers came together to work on 18 different homes throughout Helena. Volunteers mowed yards, filled driveway cracks, hauled away truckloads of trash, completed outdoor cleanups, and helped restore pride, dignity, and comfort to neighbors’ homes.
The Spirit of Service project brought together local businesses, organizations, and community members with a shared commitment to helping those who may not be able to complete these projects on their own. The collaboration and generosity displayed throughout the project highlighted the strength and compassion of the Helena community.
United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area extends sincere thanks to every volunteer who dedicated their time and energy to serving others. Projects like Spirit of Service are a powerful reminder that strong communities are built through teamwork, compassion, and people willing to show up for one another.
Thank you Helena
